Quick, I need a Greeting Card!

In person at Grace United Methodist Church
Join fellow CCG members for an in-person program on Saturday, May 9 from 2-4pm in the parlor at Grace United Methodist Church, 4905 E. Yale Ave., Denver, CO 80222 (just west of I-25 at the Yale exit, north side of the street. Please use the entrance facing Eudora Street.) A variety of teas and snacks will be provided.
We will have our usual swap table set up for you to bring items to donate. Also please bring any projects you are working on or have finished that you would like to share with us. We are looking forward to catching up with all of you!
Program Description
Margaret will show us how to make four different cards based on one basic folded form with minimal measuring.* A materials kit with pre-cut, pre-scored cardstock plus some embellishments and 4-A2 envelopes will be provided for $5 payable to Margaret. RSVP is required to reserve a kit. Please RSVP or direct questions to Margaret Stookesberry at info@coloradocalligraphers.com. Also, late dues of $30 payable to Colorado Calligraphers’ Guild will be cheerfully accepted.
Supplies you should bring:
- X-acto knife and scissors
- A cutting surface
- Bone folder
- Glue stick (Uhu is preferred if you can find it)
- Decorative paper scraps
- Ruler
- Pencil & eraser
Nice to have:
- Small T-square or triangle
- Double stick tape
- Stickers or small paper decorations
- Metallic pens
- Calligraphic felt tip pens
