The Colorado Calligraphers' Guild was formed to promote the study, practice and appreciation of calligraphy in all its historical and present day applications, to encourage individual excellence and foster a deeper understanding of calligraphy.
A non-profit organization, the Guild elects officers and holds regular meetings to conduct its business.

June 15th, A Taste of Italic

Join us for an
introduction to the italic hand in this last class of the season! This is a
perfect class if you’ve never tried italic and a good refresher if it is a
familiar hand. It is also precursor to an exciting guest instructor the Guild
is working to schedule for Fall this year!
Registration
deadline: Monday, June 10
Cost: $50 for members, $80 for non-members, ($30 can be applied
to the current years membership dues). Materials/Supply fee is $10 payable to
the instructor the day of the class.

Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Student Supplies List: Bring your usual toolbox with dip
pens, a variety of nibs, and ink. We will be using pencil and lined paper to
start and move on to dip pens with a large nib (3 mm Tape or Brause, Speedball
C2, or Mitchell 1). Bring a good quality bond paper, T-square, and a board to
lean on.
Bring your own lunch.
Optional Supplies: Several sheets of good paper

provide: Handouts, lined paper
